Garrafón
When in Isla Mujeres,
make sure to visit the Garrafón-Punta Sur Park.
Right
on the islandƒs
southern tip, this environmentally-protected area offers
enchanting views of the Caribbean Sea and the Cancun skyline
form its cliffs.
Swim or snorkel in the
warm, shallow ocean waters among thousands of multi-colored
fish. This is a fabulous experience you should not miss.
Book a tour with your travel agent or simply go to Isla Mujeres
and take a cab to the park.
Xcaret
Located 72 kilometres
(45 mi.) from Cancun, this eco-archaeological park features
snorkeling, caves, cenotes (fresh water sinkholes) and Maya
vestiges. Swim along the underground rivers, go diving or
horseback riding. Botanical garden, aviary, aquarium, archaeological
museum, restaurants and shops are added bonuses. Stay for
the Xcaret at Night Show.
